Syndrome in which eosinophils accumulate in the lung in response to a parasitic infection e.g. hookworm, strongyloides stercoralis or ascaris

Difficulty breathing, coughing as well as a fever +/- those of the parasitic infection such as irritable bowel syndrome, abdominal pain and cramping, skin rashes and fatigue.

Asthma has reversibility, Lofflers does not show reversibility
CXR: Loefflers may show infiltrates and other changes. Asthma is normal
